Turkeymen
Turkeymen are a now extinct subspecies of humans. It is unknown when the Turkeymen branched off from the human lineage or for what reason since they had only a singular population. The only known population of Turkeymen lived in a vast underground city found in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Turkeymen were noted for their human body and turkey head, their love for entertaining as well as their ability to produce turkey calls.[1]
Discovery
In 1777 a crew of Swocks sailing across the Pacific Ocean crashed into a rock, sinking their ship. The Turkeymen then came to the rescue of the Swocks, leading them into their unedrground city. The Swocks were badly malnourished, so in a display of selflessness the Turkeymen king sacrificed himself as a meal for the Swocks to eat, this act led to the tradition of eating a turkey at Thanksgiving. The Turkeymen helped the Swocks rebuild their ship and joined them on their trip back to Belgium.[1]
Life with Humans
When the Turkeymen arrived at Belgium they chose to become personal jesters for the Swocks. Turkeymen were very talented and were often taken around Europe to impress other courts with their incredible skill with juggling, backflips, triple backflips, triple front flips, and cartwheels.[1]
Turkeymen continued to be at the forefront of comedy up until the 1960’s when the last Turkeymen Yawn and Pascal died in 1964 after setting their pants on fire. Their deaths were recorded and shown on Belgian television.
Legacy
Although no 'true' Turkeymen survived to modern times, there are a few who are the descendants of the Turkeymen.
On Skeleton Realm LIVE! episode 31 it was reveled via a 23 and I DNA test that co-host Sam Wagstaff is one of the last descendants to the original Turkeymen.[1]
