Master Scholar is a prestigious title accorded to Key Realmers who contribute greatly to Skelepedia. The title was created on June 17th 2023 by Doug Bleichner and Sam Wagstaff as a show of appreciation to former Skelepedia junior scholar, current VIP LORD PREMIUM ELITE teir pater, and First Master Scholar SaltyTea for her continued support and numerous contributions to Skelepedia.
Doctrine
Master Scholars should seek to uphold these rules with every edit, deletion or new page they make. These rules were first created by SaltyTea, who sought out to set her own rules as a Master Scholar and rules for any other future Master Scholars. Junior Scholars are also encouraged to follow these rules.
1. Editing and Creating Pages
Follow Phaser's Rules For Junior Scholars. Although in name and output we may be different to our junior scholar brethren, we should seek to follow Phaser's rules to provide the best and most accurate information to Skelepedia.
When creating pages try to maximize visual space, keep images next to relevant text and out of blank sections by putting them on the left and right of the page. Try to have sections longer than a couple lines.
Make sure that each page has an appropriate amount of blue, add blue by appropriately linking Skelepedia pages together.
Our duty is to hold ourselves responsible to Doug, Sam and the Realmers. Every page creation, every edit and every deletion must conform to the Realmers' interests, and if mistakes occur, they must be corrected.
Editing pages is encouraged when adding vital features such as: the first words being the name of the page in bold, new information, missing citations, and hyperlinks to other Skelepedia pages.
Editing text on pages should be kept to a minimum, done only to: add context, remove outdated material or to improve readability
2. Be Kind To Your Fellow Skelepedia Scholars and Realmers
The best work is work that is done together.
We should be modest and prudent, guard against Severely Normal Mentation, and serve the Realmers' heart and soul.
Master Scholars should never discourage new Scholars from joining in and creating or editing pages.
Try to preserve other Scholars' works by minimizing any edits of original text on pages they created.
Assist fellow scholars by linking other pages to the pages they created.
3. Defend Skeleton Realm From Haters
Keep Severely Normal Mentation topics away from Skelepedia by not including them, and by editing or deleting them from pages.
All Haters are paper Turkeymen. In appearance, the Haters are terrifying, but in reality, they are not so powerful.
Ignore any harassment from Haters by saying things such as: "I hope you get better", "Thank you but I'm not interested", "Uh-huh", or the most ego damaging "I bet you drink water instead of soda."
