RealmEye Logo
Chat and attendance record of Key Realmer SaltyTea as of episode 105

RealmEye is an initiative developed and launched by Sam Wagstaff in cooperation with MeMoreTV in order to monitor Realmer activity. It contains a log of the messages sent by Realmers on in the live chat of all episodes of Skeleton Realm LIVE!, and includes tools for analysing the data a'swell. It is powered by QuikLinks.

Origin

Term Puff of episode 99

RealmEye was developed as part of the MeMoreTV investigation into Morph Williams, a former employee of the company who was fired in 2016 for "being too random". He is considered dangerous, and when he was fired, MeMoreTV issued a company-wide notice to employees warning them to stay away from him.[1] In a segment titled "MeMore Morph Crackdown: Surveillance Program Rollout: Y'ALL Including Us are Being Cracked Down Upon", Sam introduced RealmEye to the Realmers.[2]

Features

RealmEye offers four key features: Realmer Search, Term Search, Raw Chat and Top Chatter Data.

Term Puff

Top Chatters as of episode 105

Term Puff is a method of data representation used by RealmEye to display the terms used either by an individual or a group of Realmers. More commonly-used terms appear larger, and rarer words appear smaller.

Although term puffs are capable of displaying emoji, these must be configured manually, since the raw data contains text only. As such, emoji such as the clap are rendered as images, whereas other emoji are rendered as text, such as the custom SRL Dana emote (_dana in text form).

Realmer Search

Top Chatter historical data as of episode 105
Example of a jacked puff, in which "chunt" is the dominant term.

Realmer Search allows users to view the total number of messages and number of live streams attended by a user (i.e. the number of live streams in which the user participated in the chat). Additionally, a Term Puff is displayed for the user, showing the most common terms they have used across all chat records.

Term Search

The term search displays the number of messages containing the term specified. Contrary to what the user may expect, therefore, it does not count the total number of times a term has been used. Below this, the messages containing the term are displayed.

Raw Chat

This allows users to view the raw chat log of any episode, in addition to a Term Puff showing the terms used by all attendees of the stream. The title of "Master Chatter" is awarded to the episode's most prolific chatter a'swell.

Top Chatter Data

This segment displays two graphs. The first shows the top 10 most prolific chatters across all episodes of SRL, while the second breaks down their activity on a per-episode basis.

Puff-Jacking

Puff-Jacking, a term coined by Sam in episode 104, refers to the practice of repeatedly using a word to such an extent that it skews that episode's Term Puff.[3] Realmers may work individually or collaborate to promote an arbitrary term and, in the absence of other terms used with extremely high frequency, this term will dominate the puff. Examples of terms used for this purpose are "grovulate" and "chunt".

Puff-jacking is objectively not funny and people who engage in it need to see a therapist.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][dubious ]

In episode 106, in which users were jacking the term "Phaser" hardcore, the practice was outlawed by chatmod "Dana the chatmod". This action later came to be known as "Jack:Off style".[11]
